# Pools

In XdYe Pools users will be able to stake their XDYE in order to get more XDYE. For developing and testing it we find out that we could choose between:

* **Approach 0:** Masterchef minting XDYE in behalf of XDYE.
* **Approach 1:** XdYe Bar & XdYe Maker, based on XdYe DEX fees.

For being honest XdYe Bar & Maker Contract implementation on the DEX will make sense if there is a significant amount of swaps/trades inside the XdYe DEX, in other words users in order to test that functionality will need to hardcode transactions. 

For the seek of simplicity, we have added the Approach 0, so if a user deposits XDYE he will see the rewards XDYEs increase.

Before user being able to interact with XdYe Pool Contract, he needs to pay a small Fee. This can be done easily by clicking on Unlock.

Once that small fee of 0.5 VT has been paid, user will be able to deposit his XDYE inside the Masterchef contract and get rewarded with more XDYE for leaving his XDYE holdings deposited on there.&#x20;

For deposit user just needs to input the amount he wants to deposit and then click on Deposit. Then a Metamask Tx will popup.

Once Deposit has been successful, a notification will appear on TOP-RIGHT of the website.
